Mike is a multi-instrumentalist based in Montreal. He started learning piano at age 12, and first taught classical guitar in 1973. Mike has been writing and performing music ever since.

Mike sometimes works as a session musician, lyricist and arranger for other artists and producers. Styles range from jazz, flamenco, electronica, rap, world, ambient, and binaural recordings.

For his undergraduate engineering thesis in 1979, he wrote a PDP-11 assembler program that turned a Digital Equipment PDP 11-45 into a virtual ARP 2600 synthesizer. These days Mike uses Pro Tools, Ableton Live and DaVinci Resolve Studio to make music videos.
