USBGear shows two interesting video capture devices on their web site:

• USB 2.0 Video Adapter With Audio for Windows XP Analog Video Capture
• USB 2.0 High-Quality Video and Audio MPEG-4 Hardware Encoder fro (sic) Windows 2000 and XP

These seemed like interesting products, however the company does not answer the phone, their phone system is messed up so messages cannot be left, and they only answered one of my three requests for technical support sent via email. I was underwhelmed by their apparent lack of customer focus and continued looking for alternative products. CompUsa sells a device that looks very much like the analog video capture unit, but I lost interest.
