New Computer Setup
"Bear" Original Setup

In August 2007 I bought parts for a new computer featuring an Intel Core 2 Duo and Windows XP (32 bit) and decided to build it myself.  Most parts were supplied by Newegg.com.  I built this machine to be as quiet as I could and to support overclocking; I intended to use it as a digital audio workstation and a programming workstation. The use case as a DAW did not work out, but lots of programming was done.
