I collaborate with designers, provide and manage specialized subcontractors... and, yes, I write software myself - quite a lot of it!

As an independant contractor, I can examine the client's current opportunities, challenges, strengths, competition and relevant technology available today.  If requested, I look ahead at upcoming technology and contribute to a discussion of business and technical strategic options.

My presentation will discuss using Flex in enterprise integration projects. I will discuss the following items:

Throughout the presentation I will discuss issues that enterprise web services typically present, and how to work with the Flex SDK and Flex/Flash Builder to mitigate them. Code fragments and demos will be provided.

I have worked with Flex and AIR since they were alpha software, and continue to use the technology today. Most of my project involve Flex data services and Java EE. I blog for InsideRIA.com and am writing two books about Flex, targeted at software architects.
